Info on how to assemble Hygiene & Cleanup Kits for Hurricane Harvey

The need is great to assemble Hygiene Kits and Bucket (Clean up) Kits to aid the people affected by Hurricane Harvey. You can find the info needed to assemble the kits at cwskits.org. Info on how and where to ship them can be found at cwskits.org/shipping/

To send monetary donations, please put "DR000169-Harvey" in the memo line of your check. Checks are made out to PC (USA). These funds will goto the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Fund. Mail to PCUSA, PO Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700.


Until Oct. 1st – Presbyterian Women will be collecting Men’s flip flops and laundry detergent for the Interfaith Partnership’s Emergency Overflow Shelter. Collection boxes will be in the back of the Sanctuary and in the Multipurpose room.

Tues., Sept. 26th, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Presbyterian Women’s Circle Meeting. All women are invited. Rev. Stewart Pattison will provide an introduction to the Horizon’s Bible Study, Who is Jesus? What a Difference a Lens Makes. We’re beginning a new Bible Study. This is a great time to check out Presbyterian Women. Bring a bag lunch. Beverage and dessert is provided.

Weds., Sept. 27th, 6:00 p.m. – Protestant Campus Ministry Patrons’ Dinner, a fundraiser for the campus ministry at First Lutheran Church, 181 Western Avenue in Albany. There is a silent auction at 6:00 p.m. and a lasagna dinner is at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Jo Page, author of “Preaching in My Yes Dress” will be the speaker. Weds., Oct. 4th, 6:00-8:00 p.m. – PW Night in Liberia at Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church, hosted by its Presbyterian Women’s group. All women are invited. Traditional Liberian food will be provided and a freewill offering will be taken to be split between the Liberian Christian School and the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
